What is IPL? 

Intense Pulsed Light or IPL includes many wavelengths of light which can be filtered to acquire the wavelengths needed to reach the desired chromophore target (melanin, water, hemoglobin, porphyrin). IPL can target multiple skin conditions including vascular disorders, pigmented lesions, acne, hair removal, and photo-damaged skin.

Due to technological advances, IPL’s clinical outcomes are becoming increasingly comparable to laser systems. 

What is SHR?

SHR stands for Super Hair Reduction, it is a step forward in hair reduction, it is vastly becoming the treatment of choice due to its advanced technology that allows the therapist to half the treatment time and clients are free from pain.

SHR is faster than traditional IPL and Laser, it’s safer and pain-free in comparison.

SHR has a revolutionary approach, rather than bombarding your skin with high amounts of Joules (energy), SHR fires multiple shots but at low Joules, in doing so it gently heats the hair follicle to the heat needed and the most you will feel is warmth and a tingling sensation, some clients comparing it to a warm massage. SHR also utilizes In-Motion technology, where the handpiece is always in motion over the skin.
